Steps to enable Two-Factor
Authentication (2FA) for Google
1. Locate 2FA on Google
First, go to Google official website and log in to your account. Click the profile icon in the upper right and click Manage your Google Account.
Click Security -> 2-Step Verification -> Turn on 2-Step Verification
2.Bind a phone number
Select country code -> enter your phone number -> click Next
You will get a verification code from Google. Enter the code and click Next.
Now 2-step verification is successfully turned on for your Google account. Click Done.
3.Set up authenticator app
Then click Authenticator -> Set up authenticator app.
Now you can see a QR code. It’s used to scan and save your Google account to SecureAuth.
Go to Authenticator and tap Scan QR-code to go to the automatic scanning Page.
Your Google account will be auto saved to SecureAuth. You can also see an auto-generated 6-digit code.
Return to Google, click Next, enter the 6-digit code and click Verify.
🎉Done! Now the method of using an authenticator to verify is successfully added, and your Google account is protected by SecureAuth.
